It looks so pretty, it’s perfect to serve to dinner guests for dessert. You can even make it in advance and store it in the fridge. Add the slivered almonds and other toppings just prior to serving for a truly impressive dessert course. Your guests will truly be impressed with such a pretty dish, so be prepared for lots of oohs and aahs.

Mix up! Use different combinations of yogurt flavors and berries or fruits to make the layers. Vanilla yogurt with blackberries or blueberries is a great combination. Or try peach yogurt with peach slices or apricot slices instead of berries. Try halved walnuts instead of slivered almonds for a different taste and texture. If you’re feeling adventurous, try cashews, pecans or pistachios on top. If you want to get really creative, try using different granola flavors. They sell some great ones now with bursts of dried fruit or nuts. Get one that matches the flavors you’re using in the yogurt and berries for a well-balanced berry granola parfait.
